From Oil to Gas and Beyond is intended to “analyse the transformation of the Trinidad and Tobago energy sector and provide a blueprint for the future,” which is done through the contributions of several leading figures in the sector, such as Tony Paul, Dr Tony Bryan, Baajnath Sirinath, Kerston Coombs, Kermitt Walrond and others. They deal, respectively, with many of the major industry issues of the day – national ownership and local content, Trinidad and Tobago’s energy relationship with its neighbours (particularly Venezuela), the future structure of the sector, energy and development and the need for new energy leaders to carry the sector forward.
