Energy and Energy Affairs Minister, Senator Kevin Christian Ramnarine, who may be coming to the end of his term in office considering the possibility of his People’s Partnership (PP) government losing the forthcoming general election, says one of his “ambitions” is to “document my period here as minister over the last five years”.
Whether in the form of a book or an article in some learned journal, the minister has not specified but he expects, as he says, presumably tongue-in-cheek, that “history shall hopefully be kind to me for I shall write it”.
This is a take-off on a comment which Minister Ramnarine says was first made by Winston Churchill, who was alleged to have remarked that “history will be kind to me, for I shall write it”.
