The main purpose of this internship is for the students to apply and perform their academic learnings relating to petroleum engineering concepts and theories.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Reviews well histories and evaluates well performance to determine cause of failure/low productivity and identify opportunities for optimization, workover and reactivation.
- Evaluates down hole well logs and Identifies oil and water bearing sands to determine possible water entry into the well bore and possible up-hole prospects.
- Analyses and extracts the pertinent data from workover reports to determine well failure and make recommendations to correct same.
- Analyses and extracts pertinent data from reports to categorized relevant data sets required as outlined in Project Scope.
- Presents findings and do reports
- Any other related functions
