Liquified natural gas producer Atlantic’s chief executive officer Nigel Darlow said yesterday the company intends investing $13 billion over the next five years on plant upgrades.

He said the company is confident it can be profitable over the long term, and competitive with its pricing.

Atlantic, the seventh-largest LNG producer in the world, is based in Point Fortin, where it operates four liquefication plants (trains).
